A show isn’t just a setlist. It’s a moment, a memory, an experience that lingers long after the lights go down. For Lionel Richie’s 2023 Tour, the challenge was to create visuals that didn’t just accompany the music but amplified it turning every frame into a celebration of his legendary career.

For the opening title, Reza Dolatabadi and longtime collaborator Amir B Ash crafted a montage that captures the essence of Lionel Richie’s legacy. A seamless blend of archival moments, bold graphics, and rhythmic motion set the tone for what was to come.

Then came “Dancing on the Ceiling.” A song that demand- ed more than just visuals it needed movement, energy, and an invitation to defy gravity. The entire piece was built from a collage of dance, ceilings, and Lionel Richie himself, creating a hypnotic, kinetic world where the music truly comes to life.

This wasn’t just animation. It was an extension of the per- formance, a way to pull the audience deeper into the magic.
