For Oakley’s polarized eyewear campaign, retail design studio Wwweshstudio called on OVVO Studio to create a life-size interactive video game. Inspired by the colour spectrum of crystals, the experience transforms the tints of optical lenses into a vibrant and playful visual universe. The game, designed to be immersive and competitive, invites participants to explore the unique properties of polarised lenses while having fun.
Oakley The Game is an interactive game where your physical movements control your progress on the screen. Your body is the controller. The camera captures your movements and transposes them directly onto the screen. Avoid the obstacles and collect precious diamonds(like those seen in the Oakley campaign), to get the best score against the other players. Your adventure begins in a dark cave, true to the aesthetic of the Oakley spot. As you progress, the environment changes towards the light of the valley.

A dynamic time bar with Prizm gradients (in the colours of Oakley lenses) shows you how much time is left: you have 40 seconds to complete the level and reach the exit. Hitting an obstacle doesn’t end your race but slows you down, compromising your goal of reaching the end of the course in the allotted time. There are three types of diamond, each earning different points, as well as a golden diamond offering a bonus of 10,000 points to reward the most concentrated players.
