FUTURISTIC DATAVIZ SHOWROOM FOR THE PARIS OF TOMORROW

To mark the extension of the RER E line, providing hundreds of thousands of passengers with a smoother, more reliable and faster connection, SNCF and its partners called on OVVO Studio to create a unique interactive data sculpture highlighting the RER lines.

MULTI-VECTOR DATAVIZ EXPERIENCE

The Projet EOLE showroom is a futuristic project designed for the SNCF at La Défense, as part of the development of Grand Paris. This hybrid experience uses advanced technologies such as projection mapping, pixel mapping, and interactive interfaces to offer an immersive and educational visualization of data linked to the urban and infrastructural evolution of Grand Paris.

The aim is to enable visitors, whether experts or the general public, to gain an engaging, visual understanding of the progress and transformations to come, particularly around the extension of the RER E and the modernization of urban infrastructures. This showroom offers an innovative look at the future of cities thanks to a captivating scenography and data-reactive content.

HYBRID DESIGN

Technical aspects: video mapping, pixel mapping and generative design. Over 250 visualizations in 2 upgrade rounds.
Video mapping was used to augment the physical sculpture.
Pixel mapping was used to illustrate the EOLE layout, and put it into context by visualizing the scene.
