LIONEL RICHIE

Sing A Song All Night Long
North America Tour, 2026

This is our third collaboration with Lionel Richie.

The original idea for Brick House was first developed in 2022, when Brian Burke invited us to create live visuals for Lionel’s next show. Although the concept wasn’t used at the time, it remained with us and, a few years later, finally found its place.

One of the main references behind the piece was the opening of Spike Lee’s Do the Right Thing, with Rosie Perez dancing and boxing to Public Enemy. We had always associated that energy and attitude with Brick House, and it became the starting point for a world inspired by New York, Harlem, Black beauty and powerful women: confident, sexy, raw and full of life.

Graphic design and typography also played an important role in developing the visual language. A city sequence became a subtle reference to one of our favourite Metropolis posters. The connection emerged naturally during the design process, after the cityscape and long panning shot had already been developed.

Working with songs as iconic as Brick House and having the creative freedom to build entirely new visual worlds around them is something we deeply value.

A special thank you to our team: Mehdi Azadeh, whose work was essential across multiple aspects of the project, and David Modroño, who created the character animation based on Reza’s original designs.
